Written by Mona Khazindar, former Director of The Arab World Institute of Paris (2011-2014) and appointed member of the Saudi Cultural Authority. She has devoted her life to the art and culture of the Arab world. A book about Historical and Contemporary Representations of Arabia. The perceptions of the Arab World by foreigners, told in the context of a thematic approach to Arabia, thoroughly researched by Mona Khazindar.
For me it’s about a basic fascination with this part of the world, fed by a curious mind and a willingness to absorb and learn. Retelling and sharing my discoveries in my very own language on canvas.
